it’s a day late, but i wanted to take a moment to thank our 43rd president of the united states, george w. bush, for his service to our country. i don’t consider myself a neocon, nor do i agree with everything he and his administration did, but he served our country with great integrity and honor. in a time when it’s cool to hate your president, bush kept his head high, and continued to serve. i don’t think the majority of american’s will ever feel what it’d be like to have your name and image chastised and hated so pervasively as bush did.
“change” has come, america is getting what it voted for. i pray that our president elect will be able to make the tough decisions, even if they make him unpopular.
so thank you, w, for your service and dedication. i’m sure you wont be seeing many of these in the headlines of today’s paper.
